Visual Effects were produced by Hector Rodriquez, Eva Valett was the movie’s Producer, and Cisco Ruiz, along with Jean Weisshaar, served as Executive Producers. Originally submitted to Amazon Studios as a test script by Donnie & CT Clark, I THINK MY FACEBOOK FRIEND IS DEAD has benefited from the new studio’s mission to bring filmmakers and movie-lovers together online to foster rich, commercially-successful content. Thanks to this new, crowd-source model, Screenwriter, Clutch Singleton, and later Director, Cisco Ruiz, were both independently able to take this original script and further develop the concept into an updated second draft (Singleton) and a ninety-seven minute feature (Ruiz). Since Ruiz’s cut of the movie was released on Amazon Studios, both the Clark brothers and Singleton have expressed their enjoyment of Ruiz’s new, live-action version and acknowledged his commitment to the heart of the original story and the voice of the characters.
